About me

If I were to describe myself in 5 words( okay, 8 words 😉  ) they would be,

INSANELY OPTIMISTIC. BRUTALLY HONEST. IMPULSIVE. DREAMER. HIGHLY EMOTIONAL.

I guess you got an idea, right?  🙂 . I like to be surrounded by REAL people and  don’t mind the flaws at all, but I so hate lies and hypocrisy.

Writing has always been my passion, even during those times when I suffered from major blocks. It gave me wings to fly( yes, yes, I am still flying). My blog  In love with a twilightstar( because I just love the twilightstar) is about all those little things in life, big things as well 🙂 that catch my eye and brings a smile to my face. I also love being around people who share similar interests and wavelength as me, which is another reason why I started blogging.

So here I am, a dentist by profession, trying her hand at writing…….hopefully it works, but if doesn’t, I am still in 😉 !!!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG.

P.S  Thank you, for dropping by. Have a nice day.

Cheers,

Shruti.

Hi Shruthi, I have met some wonderful people on this journey of blogging 🙂 I am pretty new to this myself…its like extended family, only difference is… they live on the other side of a computer screen 🙂 You seem a very nice person too, sometimes all you need to know is the little info you can read on the ‘About Me’ section. I haven’t checked any of your other blogs so far, I will…surely.
    Love your simple writing 🙂

      1. Shruti;
Once again thanks for being first commemorator on my post………………..
“As you sow so shall you reap”‘
Is a proverb which means that actions or deeds of a person repay him/her in kind. Origin of the proverb is traced to the Bible, Galations VI (King James Version): Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

  9. And I wonder how I missed your “about me” 🙂
From the FB conversations,I did realise that you are a dentist. And now I finally know a dentist whom I can trust 😀
BTW,you know, all 4 of my wisdom teeth have started appearing. 2 of them have partially appeared but the rest cannot because my jaw is too small for all the 32 teeth to fit in 😛 Do you think it is necessary to remove any of the teeth to accomodate this wisdom? 😛
LOL,I need to fix an appointment with you soon 😀

    1. Well you since you are 19 maybe you could wait for few more years provided there is not pain and you take care of the erupted portion . My jaws were small too Bhakti , I thought I will have to extract but then three years back 3 or them erupted and that too fully , a little off the mark but hasnt caused me cheek bite or been carious till now . So I thought I will let it remain. So yes you could wait a few more years 🙂

      1. 🙂 Will wait for a few years then 😉

My jaws are extra small,I think. All the teeth are crooked. One of the ( upper) canines has burst through the gums 😛
Often thought of getting braces, but people keep telling my parents that it looks good :/

        1. If it looks good don’t get ortho treatment done . I personally like it such buccally placed canines . 🙂 Just wait for few more years and if it’s gettin more crowded goes for extraction !!

          1. 😀 Will come to you with an appointment Shruti 🙂 😀
Extraction of the upper canine will be extremely difficult. The root is wayy too up( less than a finger’s gap) . So,dad says it might affect the surrounding nerves 🙄

    2. I’m not a dentist, but what I was thinking, if we could replace your jaw (which’s too small according to you) with that of baby yeti? I find this plan too rocking… what about you kid?

          1. I know this awkward but I really need a second doctor’s opinion on this. I have a wisdom tooth still under gum, unlike the other three which already came out. I did an X-Ray and it turns out it won’t get out because it’s angled at about 45° and is hitting the tooth in front of it. My doctor told he can get it out in his office, not in an OR, I won’t even need stitches and he’s going to locally sedate me. He gave me antibiotics to take 2 days before the extraction and pain killers (take on pill 15 ms before the extraction). I am kind of worried. Does everything seem Ok? And HOW is he going to get it out?

          2. Hey everything is perfectly allright . A lot of people have their wisdom tooth either completely of partially impacted ( inlcuding me 🙂 ). It is usually not complicated although it does depend on the relationship of your tooth to the surrounding bone and few other things which I can only tell you after having a look at your x-ray . It can be done with local anaesthesia and if your doctor is good you have nothing to worry . 🙂 Hope you found my reply helpful .

    1. Well if it’s bent to a great extent and if you are a mouth breather for most of time then yes it would definitely be a reason for your protruding upper incisors . 🙂 . And thank you so much Sherin, really means a lot .

  16. Nice blog content but little changes needed:
    1) Reading paras is tough, can u make content with little bullet listing.
    2) Go to Settings>Sharing, and select the checkbox – Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results
Now if someone visits your blog, he/she may like the post without opening the post separately. It will help you get more likes on the blog.
    3) Highly emotional is your weakness, you need to hide it or work upon it. Else people around you will kill you. Make some goal in life – may be blogging, and work on it. It will make you strong. You may edit it here to something else – may be ‘Bold n Beautiful’. Rest your choice.
